Sam Lange is a 2026 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Crompond, NY who attends Walter Panas HS. Lange works from a medium lean build with athleticism present. As a primary RHP, he started from the middle of the rubber showcasing a deep arm action and high 3/4 arm angle at release. Lange ultimately topped out at 72 mph with velocity expected to continue developing as the frame fills out. He repeated the operation well overall with spin profile continuing to refine. From the OF, he displayed controlled deliberate transfers and actions, once again flashing a full arm action to touch 75 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a wider stance with an intent based stroke that remained on top of the baseball. He showed contact potential and attempted to get the lower half incorporated, posting an exit velo of 69 mph.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
