Max Urban is a 2027 C/RHP/UT with a 5-9 131 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends Upper Saint Clair. Long, slender build with more physical projection in store as he matures. Right-handed pitcher, high leg lift into a high three-quarter slot from the windup. Good stride length in finish. Fastball has subtle run with short depth to his 11-5 breaking ball. Both commanded well on inside half part of the plate. Forced soft contact and competed. Outfielder, good momentum to throws with developing arm strength and overall footwork. Showed promise in catching drills with his ability to gain ground. Good exchange into more accurate throws to the bag. Right-handed hitter, open stance and spread lower half. Good intent in the hands. Incorporates lower half well. Hard liners back up the middle in his round. Good components both ways. Excellent student.
