Benjamin Ketelsen is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Sun Prairie, WI who attends Sun Prairie. The big lengthy right hander delivers with balanced kick, long hitching arm action and low three-quarters slot. Fastball features cutting action and was effectively thrown on the inner third to right handed hitters. Breaking ball is telegraphed by reduced arm speed but shows short horizontal action. Changeup dsiplays short arm side fade. Executed a quality breaker for a strike out late in the outing. In the outfield, he fields off to the side with choppy steps at reception. The effortless arm action produces throws with moderate carry. At the dish, he sets up in widespread slightly closed off. The swing was rotational and created moderate leverage. Could benefit from extending better to impact. Outstanding student. 7.55 60-yard.
