Reid Holt is a 2028 RHP/2B, OF with a 5-6 120 lb. frame from Oakland, MI who attends Rochester Adams. Features a smaller, lean frame with lots of physical projection remaining. A primary pitcher. Holt shows a 2-pitch mix (FB, CB) Higher effort delivery out of a low 3/4 slot. High leg kick at balance point before firing downhill to home plate. Attacked hitters consistently down in the zone and induced a number of ground ball outs. Showed the ability to locate his fastball and curveball for strikes. The fastball generated above average spin rates up to 2100 indicating future velocity potentially. At the plate Holt starts in a traditional balanced, pigeon-toed stance with a high hands setup. Shows present hand speed and a bat path that has a downward angle to the ball creating backspin. Employs a middle approach and can use the whole field.
