Lane Koenig is a 2027 1B/LHP with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Emmitsburg, MD who attends Delone Catholic. Young and projectable frame. Ran a 7.42 in the sixty yard dash. Primary first baseman, deep glove work with a mid line funnel, short and compact arm action, some feel around the bag, recorded throws up to 67 mph across the infield. Also pitched, upright delivery staying tall throughout, minimal leg drive with a deceptive short arm action, gets extended at release with low effort, slider showed gradual glove side break. Left handed hitter, closed stance with a high back elbow, long sweeping swing, developing bat speed.
