George Barber is a 2007 outfielder and catcher from Miami, Florida who attends Miami Central High School. He has a 5'11" 170 pound frame that is lean and athletic. George has very good raw tools and is a quick twitch player. He had an outstanding workout by running a 6.80 60 and throwing 90 mph from the outfield. He showed good bat speed at the plate with quick hands. He attacks the baseball and has lots of upside. Barber threw with a short quick arm and has outstanding raw arm strength. His throws were very accurate and straight. George is a solid college prospect with lots of upside. He is a good student with outstanding athletic ability.
