Owen McLellan is a 2026 SS/UT with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Shorewood, WI who attends Shorewood. Medium frame with some strength to him and hop in his step with wiry strength and more to come for this young athlete. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.13 seconds. Primary position IF, moving well on his feet and getting to the ball with good angles. Has a feel for the leather, presenting it well out front to a deeper funnel. Clean transfer with longer, loose arm action and making throws with carry across the diamond up to 82 mph. RHH with a nice, neutral stance to start and good rhythm in his hands. Gets to the slot well and on plane with the pitch. Hands are loose and used an obvious middle of the field approach. Consistently on the barrel with line drives gap to gap. Solid comprehensive skillset and he is an excellent student as well.
