Peyton Conto is a 2028 RHP/3B with a 5-5 145 lb. frame from Hopewell Junction, NY who attends John Jay East Fishkill. Medium, compact frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Recorded a 8.52 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a deliberate full windup delivery with a belt high leg lift and medium stride length out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the upper-60s to low-70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 71 mph in this look from a three-quarters arm slot. Simple, repeatable operation with more velocity upside as he continues to add strength. Strike thrower, mixed in developing breaking ball that blended between both a more traditional curveball and slurve shaped version, will continue to improve with mechanical refinements and additional velocity. Secondary third baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Showed proper footwork into the fielding process, a clean funnel out in-front and some lateral range to either side. Good fundamental base that will continue to improve with additional physical maturity and athleticism. Recorded arm strength up to 72 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a tight hand set and hanging leg lift trigger into launch. Compact, inside-out swing path with middle-of-the field approach and developing feel for the barrel. Plenty of projection remaining. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
