Bensen Johnson is a 2025 C/OF, UT with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Draper, UT who attends Skyline. Shorter height with a ton of room to add strength and weight. Ran a 6.92 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, really quick feet and in line to the bag. Accurate to the bag as the throws stay on line to the bag. There is some projection with the actions as he works quickly to transfer. A right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and short stride using a heel lift on foot strike. Direct path to the ball and keeps the barrel in the zone through contact. Good barrel skills with lots of liners to both gaps. Aggressive approach. Very good student.
