2023 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Christian Burdette is a 2026 RHP/SS with a lean, projectable 5-11 152 lb. frame from Menifee, CA who attends Liberty High School. Started off the event clocking a 7.65 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher that plays the infield as well. Burdette features a 4-pitch mix (FB, CB, SL, CH) out of a high 3/4 slot. Struggled with his command out of the gate, but was able to wiggle out of the inning inducing a couple fly balls. Worked 3 innings, allowing 4 hits, no walks and striking out 2. At the plate he shows a traditional, slightly open, balanced stance. Was able to square up a few balls to the pull side. Added strength will improve his tools.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
