Robert Cox is a 2028 OF/1B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Olney, MD who attends Sherwood. Young athlete with longer lean frame and a lot of room to add physicality with plenty of time to add. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary position OF, working deliberately and calculated to the ball. Bends at the waist to field but presents the glove nicely out front to secure ball. Deeper funnel to transfer before throwing. Full arm path with emerging arm strength showing throws up to 59 mph back to the infield. LHH working from a balanced and quiet initial setup. Loose actions and free hands to deliver the barrel to impact. Swing tends to get a bit steep generating ground balls to low-line drives. As he learns to get on plane and puts on mass the power will start to play. The skillset is present, just needs repetition and time to reach potential.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
