Nathan McDowell is a 2027 RHP/ with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Troy, OH who attends Troy. Tall athletic pitching frame. Athletic mover on the mound pitching exclusively from the stretch with a loose three-quarter slot release. In sync delivery, creates torque and drives towards the plate. Real arm speed and gets downhill with the fastball that topped out at 84. Located the fastball with command all around the strike zone. Showed two distinct breaking ball shapes with developing feel for spin and present spin efficiency. Split finger change up showed late drop and was used as a swing and miss out pitch. Combination of size, arm speed, and pitchability to really develop on the mound. Named to Ohio Valley Prospect Top Prospect List.
