Aiden Mau is a 2027 C/1B/3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Springfield, VA who attends West Springfield. Medium frame with lean muscle mass and plenty of projection and time for more development. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.42 seconds. Primary position C, sitting in well into his primary stance and showing some feel for the glove in game play. On point with his foot work with longer overall mechanics and emerging arm strength. Did come out of his crouch a bit early at times but gets on top of the ball and made accurate feeds to second on one hop. Clean midline transfer leading him to throws up to 65 mph and pop time best 2.56 seconds. RHH with an inline setup and clean handset pre-pitch. Stays back as he accelerates to contact and works rotationally to get the barrel to the front. Emerging hand strength and bat speed but showed accuracy with the barrel and stayed in the middle of the field for the most part. Fundamentals there to be an offensive backstop in the future.
