Frank Dutchover-Whitson is a 2028 2B/RHP, C, 3B, SS with a 5-0 102 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Highland. Features a smaller, compact build. Ran a 9.05 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman. Displayed sound footwork and glove actions into the catchpoint. Can make the routine play consistently. Arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a balanced setup. Shifts weight using a moderate leg lift timing mechanism. Swings on a linear path. Approach works through the middle of the field consistently. Has feel for the barrel present. Right-handed pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery into a drop and drive mechanics down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a short arm action. Fastball sat 58-60 mph with some sink. Paired it with a big bending curveball at 50-52 mph. Showed the ability to pound the zone and generate quick outs. Very good student.
