Logan Blum is a 2024 1B/RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. big, tall frame from Lake Havasu, AZ who attends Lake Havasu high school. A primary first baseman that showed the ability to make all the plays on defense. Demonstrated the proper footwork/glovework thats required at the position, double play feeds were accurate, and fielded the bunt cleanly. At the plate Blum starts with a spread out, balanced stance. Can generate good hand/bat speed because of present size/strength. Used a pull approach in his BP round where he was able to square it up consistently. On the mound he features a 3-pitch mix (FB, 2-seam, CB). 2-Seam has nice cutting action, curveball shows 12-6 movement and is effective to RHH. In the game portion Blum was around the zone with all three pitches.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
