Calvin Sokolsky is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Calabasas, CA who attends Calabasas. Medium young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.17 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, fields the ball out front well with good glove position and carries his momentum through his throws, long arm action in back with some projectable carry, made accurate one-hop throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance and sinks into his lower half well to drive his swing, has a short inside swing path with middle of the field contact, still developing the strength to turn the barrel but has a good base swing to grow into with additional strength. Took a turn on the mound, has a well paced directional delivery with an extended high 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 73 mph with some arm side lift. Also threw a firm slider with short action. Good athlete who should continue to improve proportional to his strength gains. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
