Jacob Ernsting is a 2027 1B/ with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Neenah, WI who attends St. Mary Catholic. Primary first baseman, has decent footwork with some lateral range, displayed smooth glove actions and turns, utilizes a longer arm stroke and releases from a lower slot, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 65 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with a high hand set-up and high back elbow, showed some strength at impact with more power to project for, produced line drives to the pull-side and middle of the field when timed up, recorded an exit velocity of 68 mph. Ran an 8.49 sixty-yard dash. Good student.
