Zachary Westerberg is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Frankfort, IL who attends Lincolnway East. Works from a lean compact frame with longer levers and physical upside. Primary outfielder, attacked the baseball with some urgency, fielded it properly off of the front foot, got rid of it quickly, utilizes a shorter arm stroke, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 73 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, lifts the leg up to the belt, breaks into a deeper arm path, releases from a three-quarters slot, slight hitch to the upper-body prior to separation, worked the fastball east to west, it showed natural cut and topped out at 74 mph, landed a 12-6 curveball with some bite to it for strikes, projects for an uptick in velocity as he continues to add strength to his frame. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a high hand set-up and high back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger and flatter bat path, displayed an aggressive turn to the point of contact, worked the entire field, recorded an exit velocity of 71 mph. Ran an 8.08 sixty-yard dash. Good student. Named to the 2023 13U/14U Midwest Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
