Ashton Santomo is a 2028 OF/RHP/SS with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Hghlnds Ranch, CO who attends Thunder Ridge. Advanced physical frame for a '28 with some twitch and present athleticism paired with lean strength. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, one hand gather off the the side, shows some bounce and gamelike urgency working to it, carries momentum through it, low line on throws with some accuracy to the bag, long arm swing to slot. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full delivery with a big leg tuck, works quickly with a long stride out, compact three-quarters slot, can turn over a solid change in the low 60's and dropped in a solid curveball in same band with healthy shape and wrinkle to it. Took reps in the infield, active feet, coordinated process with an idea, similar athleticism translated from the other spots shows here, projects. Right-handed hitter, square and even base, high hands with low back elbow, level path through the zone, direct hand path, flashed some decent pull side contact when extended out front. Hit in game, saw spin and slowed down the process, can run a good bit and has great actions out at shortstop. Named to the 2023 13U/14U Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
