Jorge Arcia is a 2025 C/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. Pius X. Primary catcher with an athletic build and strength in the frame. Uses a lower two knee set out of the crouch. Sets up deep and pops up quick. Strong arm made all throws on a line with accuracy. Quick transfer and release with soft hands for receiving. Gains plenty of ground through the plate. Had one of the top pop times and threw a runner out in live game action. Also ran a 7.41 sixty. Right-handed hitter who starts with a narrow base. Uses a back side hanging leg trigger with a high hand set to start. Quick hands allow for some really good bat speed. Uncoils the back hip and separates well with big pull side impact. Swing stays level with barrel whip through the zone. Great student. Named to the 2023 Texas Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
