2023 13U/14U Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase
Trey Brink is a 2027 2B/SS with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Youngsville, NC who attends Franklinton. Very lean and slender young build. 7.97 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, moves his feet well laterally and has some young bounce to his actions going to the ball, tends to reach for his back hand, developing arm strength best suited for second base at present. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance, rotational swing mechanics, leans back to get his bat through, has lots of late head movement that can impact his consistency. Should keep improving in all areas as he gets stronger. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
