Brayden Beckmann is a 2025 C/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Ashland, MO who attends Southern Boone. A taller frame and build. Longer limbs with length throughout.Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who sets up with a side saddle, a shorter arm action, and release. He gains some ground and has one-hop accuracy to the bag in the tag zone at second. He also showed a right-knee down stance coming out of the crouch as well. Threw 73 mph down to second with a 2.03 pop time. He had a couple of nice catch-n-throws in-game as well. He's a right-handed hitter with higher-set hands, a high back elbow, and he has a wider base. He uses a leg lift trigger to get on time. He was direct with his hands and was able to work to the middle of the field and oppo during his round of BP swings. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. He took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who has a slight turn, coiling with the leg lift up above the belt. He works down the mound and throws from a three-quarters arm slot. He had a shorter arm stroke through the back. Created some looseness through release. The fastball was up to 80 mph and had some life to it, showing some sink when he located in the lower half arm-side. He was able to get some whiffs on the fastball. He showed a slurvy-breaking ball with a high-tilt shape, being 11/5 at times. He showed the breaking ball glove-side often. He located well overall. He threw 1 and 2/3 innings, allowing 1 hit with 1 strikeout to his credit. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
