Cecil Kelley is a 2028 3B/RHP, 2B, IF, OF with a 5-10 158 lb. frame from Wellman, IA who attends Mid Prairie. Works from a medium frame with some physical upside. Primary third baseman, worked through the baseball at a deliberate pace, got the glove down on-time, the throws showed some zip to them, releases from a lower slot, recorded arm strength up to 66 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery, slightly coiled leg lift that works into a shorter stride prior to foot strike, works down the slope well, located his mix fairly well, the fastball is straight and topped out at 70 mph, flashed a slower breaking ball to disrupt hitters’ timing. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow base with a high hand set-up and high back elbow, keeps the posture upright, the stroke is loose and level, produced soft line drives to the pull-side when timed up, recorded an exit velocity of 73 mph. Ran a 7.65 sixty-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
