Samuel Hasty is a 2008 RHP from Poly Prep HS, residing in Brooklyn, New York, with a 6'7"/200 pound frame. Samuel has a tall and solid frame. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with long arm action. Hasty has a deliberate delivery with a downward plane to the plate. He does leave the ball up at times when his mechanics are not consistent. Samuel has a solid fastball at 83 mph with an 11-5 curveball at 70 mph. He mixes pitches well and works quick on the mound. Hasty has a very projectable body at 6'7"/200 and should only get stronger.
