2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Aaron Barley is a 2009 OF/SS with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Pittsford, NY who attends Rush Henrietta. Aaron has an athletic build and is a very good all-around athlete. At the plate Aaron is fairly raw, but has very good raw hitting tools with good bat speed and the ability to stay inside the baseball. He has a level swing plane and makes consistent solid contact. He will just need to smoothen out his hitting mechanics in the future. In the outfield Aaron shows his best upside where he has a loose easy arm action that projects to get quit a bit stronger. His actions are raw in the field, but he has the athletic ability to become a very solid defender. Aaron is a solid student that should attract the attention of many mid-level college programs. .
