Evan Canode is a 2028 SS/2B/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Bentonville. Compact athletic frame. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. So pace and body control in the infield, footwork to the baseball, shows athleticism and range laterally. Solid average glove actions working through the baseball. Hit from a slightly open stance with leg lift timing. Connectivity to the swing, level on plane swings, some moving parts to the swing, generates bat speed and was consistently putting together quality at-bats in game. Up to 75 with an 11-5 shape curveball on the mound with some depth. Hybrid windup and a three-quarter slot on the mound. Named to Central Prospect top prospect list.
