Troy Karz is a 2027 C/RHP with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Troy, NY who attends Tamarac. Works from a lean frame with some physical upside. Primary catcher, starts in a side saddled stance, gains ground well, utilizes a midline transfer that works into a medium length arm action, displayed consistent one-hop accuracy, recorded arm strength up to 65 mph and a pop time of 2.40. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilized a quick full wind-up delivery, starts from the middle of the rubber, releases from a shorter three-quarters slot, located the fastball fairly well, topped it out at 69 mph, landed a changeup for a swing and miss, mixed in a big curveball to disrupt hitters’ timing. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open base with a high hand set-up, utilizes a leg lift trigger, keeps the weight on the back-side, takes a lengthy path to the ball, produced soft liners to all parts of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 66 mph. Ran a 7.76 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
