Lepchitz is a 5-6 junior infielder from Georgia with a small frame but some mature strength. He ran the 60 in 7.46 and had 73 mph arm strength from the infield. Lepchitz is an aggressive offensive player. He took somewhat of a line drive, spray the ball around approach in batting practice and made good contact but in the games he showed a much quicker bat with a hard, all out swing. Lepchitz slammed one double down the line and was a threat to hit it hard somewhere every time he swung the bat. At his size this approach is probably pretty effective with aluminum. Lepchitz’s defensive actions were solid and he fits in best at second base. He is a good student.
