2003 South Underclass Showcase
Wondra is a compact outfielder who showed well both defensively and with the bat. He ran a 7.07 in the 60 and utilized that speed well in the outfield and on the bases. His arm strength is playable and his bat-speed is good. His arm should show a steady improvement over the next year and beyond. He threw with 76-78 mph velocity across the infield. His bat showed very well from batting practice to the games. He got in a good groove in BP and produced a continuous barrage of line drives. He showed a balanced and comfortable line drive swing. He took the good swing into the games and smoked a few. One sharp knock over the third basemans head was enough to see that he can already hit the ball with some authority using wood.
