Richard Dunno is a 2008 RHP/3B with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame from Fort Wayne, IN who attends Snider HS. He has a good athletic frame with some present strength. Dunno throws from a well paced, balanced delivery that he repeats well and enables him to spot the ball , especially to the outside half of the plate. He has a long arm action with some palm up action in the back but his arm comes through well and he has a good downhill angle to the plate. Dunno's fastball was 75-78 mph and pretty straight. He threw a 68 mph curveball that had good spin and solid 2 plane break to it. His change up was just a let up on his fastball and he needs more velo difference to make it effective. Dunno threw strikes with all his pitches, worked ahead and had an idea what he was doing. Dunno is a third baseman when he isn't pitching and swung the bat pretty well, using his strength to hit some solid line drives. Dunno is a sound fundamental player overall. He is also a good student.
