Jeremy Boyd is a 2008 OF/P with a 6'1", 188 lb frame from McDonough, GA who attends Henry County HS. Jeremy has a tall athletic build with very good all-around athletic ability. At the plate Jeremy has a balanced leveraged approach at the plate and looks like he could be a quality hitter with some adjustments. When he is on Jerey has a good swing path and makes solid contact. Often times he looks a little hesitant at the plate and he really needs to get a more aggressive mentality. In the outfield Jeremy has very good tools with a long easy arm action and a quick release. He is athletic and quick to the ball and his body projects very well. On the mound Jeremy throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm actions. He has a little bit of a jerky delivery and his overall pitchability is a little raw at this point. Jeremy is a solid student that should be a highest-level college prospect.
