D'Ambrosio has a long lean frame, hits from an open stance, good job of keeping hands back, shows good bat speed, has lift in swing, shows ability to drive ball to all fields, gets good extension, makes consistent contact, defensively, short arm action, good accurate throws from the OF, ball comes out good, feet work, he is also an excellent student.
