Elliott Caldwell is a 2011 3B/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Easley, SC who attends Wren HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. 6.87 runner, versatile athlete defensively, good infield actions, overhand release, good arm strength, quick exchange, similar sound outfield actions. Balanced hitting stance, straight legs, low hand hitch load, shows bat speed, pretty short to the ball, some lift in his swing, could hit above the ball better, has hitting tools to develop. Also pitched, fastball to 86 mph, high 3/4's release point, some curveball spin, sweeping action. Outstanding student.
