WP - Josh Gauldin is a 2005 1B from Nevada Union HS in California. Josh has a mature body with some present strength. Josh showed a good approach at the plate with good tempo and balance. Josh also showed plus pitch recognition that allowed him to make consistent contact. With added strength, he should improve on his offensive capabilities and raw power. Josh is a solid fielder with average actions that can easily handle first base. Gauldin is also a solid student.
