Kyle Carter is a 2012 OF/LHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Midland, GA who attends Columbus HS. Medium athletic frame, loose athletic actions. Very good outfield throwing arm, smooth release, good speed and range. Left handed hitter, big load and wrap, long and loose easy swing, good bat speed, can lift the ball when timing works, stays back well on off speed, showed the ability to drive the ball to all fields, will continue to improve with added strength. Also pitches, stylish and smooth southpaw delivery, easy arm action, fastball to 87 mph with occasional big running action, big sweeping curveball with depth, hits spots with both pitches. Has been up to 91 mph in the past. Two-way talent that should continue to improve.
