Kyle Holloway is a 5'11" 193 pound 2006 catcher and third baseman from Deerfield Beach, Florida who attends Highlands Christian High School. He has a medium frame with a thick lower half and a strong core. Kyle has a big time arm from behind the plate which he showed during the workout by hitting 80 mph on the gun with a top pop time of 1.92. He has a very quick release and kept all of his pop times under 2.0. He receives very well with soft hands and also blocks the ball in dirt well. At the plate, Holloway has a short stroke and a quick bat. He has present power that will continue to develop. Kyloe goes the other way very well with authority. He has a power approach to hitting and strong wrists and hands. He smoked one ball that registered 93 mph off of his bat. Kyle is a very good catching prospect who can hit as well. He is a very good student as well with a 3.55 gpa and a 22 on his ACT.
