Greenwich had one of the most projectable bodies at Chapel Hill at 6-3, 175 lbs. He needs some more strength to start fulfilling his potential, especially on offense, but he did a lot of things that really caught our eye with the bat. Most noticeably, Greenwich generated very good hand speed on his swing and although his bat head dragged through the zone a bit, he was able to hit the ball very hard up the middle and even launch one over the right fielder’s head. Right now, that’s where his power is, but when his hand strength starts catching up to his hand speed, he should be able to pull the ball with wood with authority, too. Greenwich has 7.08 speed and that might improve, too, when he gets stronger. His arm is a tick below MLB average at this point but more than playable in the outfield. Keep an eye on this kid, he could develop into a special player down the road.
