Reid Collins is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from West Hartford, CT who attends Kingswood-Oxford HS. Medium athletic frame. Has gotten stronger since the last time we saw him. Still has room to fill out. In the outfield he shows solid actions. He has good range and a strong accurate arm. A right handed hitter with a narrow upright set up. Contact approach with a short bat path to the ball and some lift. Also pitched, throws from a high 3/4 slot and a quick arm. Simple leg raise delivery that allows him to repeat his mechanics well and pound the strike zone. Has improved in many areas over the last year namely dropping his 60 yd dash time to 7.02 seconds.
