Michael Anzivino is a 2007 RHP with a 6'4'', 210 lb. frame from Miami FL, who attends Gulliver Prep. He has a very good pitcher's frame and a strong, mature look to him. Anzivino has an easy delivery and a very, smooth, tension free arm action that comes through to an extended 3/4's release. There isn't much you would want to do with his delivery and arm action to improve it. Anzivino's fastball topped out 88 mph with some tailing action and there looks like there is plenty more in his arm and body. Anzivino's curveball flashed above average potential but was very inconsistent, almost as if he was trying to throw two different pitches. Early on he threw a big breaking downer curveball that had sharp bite and tight spin. Later he was throwing a pitch at the same speed that had a shorter, rolling slider type of break on a different plane. The first one was a very good pitch, the second needed lots of work. Anzinino threw some nice change ups during warm ups at 74 with arm side run but didn't throw it during the game. All the physical tools are there for Anzinino to be a solid Division I type of pitching talent.
