Michael Lee - Lee is a tall lanky junior right hander from Washington State. He has good athletic actions for a big young man and is very projectable for gaining strength and velocity over the next few years. He throws from a slow, deliberate, on-line delivery with a high ¾’s release point and little effort or tension. Lee closes his hips off well and uses his whole body smoothly. His fastball was very steady in the 80-82 mph range with good late sinking action. Lee’s curveball was 66-68 with some sweeping action and he also threw a 64 mph change up. He showed us a mature ability to throw strikes with all 3 pitches and work hitters. Lee is going to be a very good college pitcher at the least when he adds some more strength and who knows from there. He’s a prospect to keep a very close eye on. Possible huge sleeper here!
