Vincent Jackson is a 2012 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Luella HS. Large square shouldered athletic build, very good projection. 6.77 runner, good outfield actions, charges well, confident soft hands at the ball, good footwork, accurate throws, outstanding game throw to hose a runner at 3B. Also plays first base. High hand approach, slightly open, moves through contact, quick hands to the ball, could be looser out front, ball jumps hard, good bat speed with some lift. Also pitches, mid 80's fastball, tight 3/4's release, some stiffness, big sweeping curveball. Has the build and bat speed to attract scouts. Good student.
