Ryan Bielitz is a 2011 LHP with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands. Mature athletic build, very good upper body strength. Leg raise delivery, drop and drive to the plate, repeats delivery well, 3/4's release point, arm comes through cleanly. Mid 80's fastball, straight but pitches to spots. Varies curveball velocity, big breaker at lower velos, tighter and sharper at higher velos, good feel for pitching. Have seen an effective change up in the past, didn't throw this outing. Polished southpaw, good student.
