Dakota Dean is a 2013 SS with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Crestview, FL who attends Crestview HS. Strong athletic build. Left handed hitter, quiet spread stance, smooth long swing with high finish, has good bat speed, ball jumps well on contact, has lift for future power, patient game approach, sees his pitch and reacts aggressively. 7.17 runner, easy gliding actions to the ball, compact arm and quick release, throws carry well, deceptively quick and light feet, soft hands, solid game defense. Good student.
