2006 Southeast Top Prospect Showcase
NaVarro Hall is a 2007 OF with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Kennesaw GA, who attends Kennesaw Mountain HS. He has a live, athletic body that hasn't really started to fill out yet. Hall's best tool is his speed. He didn't run the 60 at the Showcase but has run 6.7's in the past. Hall is a left handed hitter who hits from a tall, open stance with little stride or movement to start his swing. He has some hand quickness once he gets the bat started but needs a trigger to improve as a hitter. Hall's swing is short and level and he sprays the ball to all fields. Hall's hitting style gets him out of the box very quickly from the left side and he's a threat to beat out any ball that he hits on the ground but he'll have to make adjustments in order to hit upper level pitch with any consistency. Hall is a very good defensive outfielder who gets good jumps on the ball and has centerfield range. He has a long release and fair arm strength on his throws. Hall is a good student.
