We weren’t able to see Hall play defense in Lincoln because of a pre-existing arm injury. That’s unfortunate, because we liked what we saw of the rest of his physical package and skills. Hall is a very athletic looking 6-3, 190 lb athlete. He lists himself as a 1B/C but he runs well enough at 7.20 in the 60 to profile him at just about any corner position on the field depending on his arm strength. Hall is a switch-hitter but looked much better to us from the left side than the right. As a lefty swinger, he has some natural loft in his swing, especially when he clears his front side on inside pitches, and could develop very good power in the future. He smoked a couple of line shots in Lincoln off of very good pitching. Hall could easily be one of the top prospects in Washington by next June. We look forward to seeing him again when he is completely healthy. Nick is a top student.
