WP - Austin Weymouth is a 2005 2B/RHP from Arcadia HS in Arizona. Austin has an average frame with a strong build. He is an offensive type infielder with an aggressive approach and line drive ability. He showed good hands, and a soft and fluid approach to groundballs. Austin also handled himself well around the 2B bag. On the mound he had good command with all of his pitches from a 3/4 arm angle. He also had some late life to his fastball when he kept it down in the strike zone. Austin had good action with his curve and located it well. He also had a knuckleball with some dance to it. He had a good idea on the mound, and showed he could pitch rather than just throw.
