Carlos Rodriguez is a 2011 LHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Kapolei, HI who attends Iolani School. Strong athletic body, especially in the lower 1/2. Standard delivery, some drop and drive, long extended arm action, 3/4's release. Steady 87-88 mph fastball, primary fastball pitcher, will cut fastball frequently, some cut FB's show plus late bite, potential for plus slider with work. Mid 70's curveball with softer sweeping break, rare change up. Ability to harness cut FB key to future success. Good student.
