Taylor Ostrich is a 2011 SS/3B, RHP, OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Carroll, IA who attends Carroll. Big athletic build. Generates bat speed easily, showed power potential, making hard contact with strength in his swing. He needs to improve his consistency and improve the use of his lower half while maintaining his good present balance. If he makes that improvement he will begin to realize his power potential and become a very dangerous hitter. Showed good reflexes defensively at 3B in games. Good student, committed to Indian Hills.
