Rory Gentile is a 2006 outfielder with a 5'8", 167 pound frame from Gloucester, MA. He has a short compact swing, with quick hands and a slight downward swing and a high finish. Gentile makes consistent solid contact with good pull power. He has good instincts and a quick first step that play better than his sixty time. He projects to be a top of the order hitter with good on base skills. In the outfield, he showed good instincts and a 75 mph accurate arm. Gentile plays with competitiveness and played hard. Rory is a strong student.
