Brendan Tripodi is a 2014 1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Rye, NY who attends Iona Preparatory. Tall, large frame, strong athletic build, looks the part of a college baseball player. Hits from a spread stance with a crouch, good bat speed, extends through contact well, quick hands, ball carries off the barrel well, good gap power with chance for further development. Good arm action from 1B, hands work well defensively, accurate throws. Good student, verbal to Elon.
